I Do Wedding Awards 2026 - Terms and Conditions

The I Do Wedding Awards 2027 will be held at the magnificent Renaissance at Kelham Hall, one of the region's most prestigious and breathtaking wedding venues, on Tuesday 18th May 2027.

1. INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern entry to, participation in, and all aspects of the I Do Wedding Awards 2027 (“the Awards”),

organised and operated by I Do Magazine Ltd (“the Organisers”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 By entering, nominating, voting, or participating in the Awards in any capacity, all entrants, nominees, voters, and participants (“you”, “your”)

agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1.3 The Organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued participation following any amendments

constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.4 The Organisers’ decisions on all matters relating to the Awards are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding any

decisions made.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Awards are open to wedding suppliers who:

• Are based in Yorkshire (including North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, Kingston upon Hull, and East Riding of Yorkshire) or the

Midlands regions

• Provide wedding-related services or products

• Are legitimately trading businesses with appropriate business registrations and insurance

Couples have to be married between 6th March 2026 and 5th March 2027

2.2 Employees, directors, officers, and immediate family members of I Do Magazine Ltd, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, and

their respective agencies are not eligible to enter.

2.3 The Organisers reserve the absolute right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the eligibility criteria or who is

found to have breached these Terms.

2.4 Entrants must be operating legally and hold all necessary licenses, permits, insurance, and registrations required to operate their business.

3. HOW TO ENTER AND NOMINATE

3.1 Entry to the Awards is made by completing the online entry/nomination form on the official I Do Wedding Awards website at www.ido-

weddingawards.co.uk.

3.2 Entries must be submitted by the deadline specified on the website. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.

3.3 There is no fee to enter or be nominated for the Awards.

3.4 Entrants must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. Any false, misleading, or inaccurate information may result in immediate

disqualification.

3.5 Once an entry is received and approved, the entrant’s company name and area will be displayed on the Awards website.

3.6 Entrants will receive a unique voting link via email which they may share with couples who have used their services and were married during the

eligible period.

3.7 Third-party nominations are permitted. Nominees will be contacted by the Organisers to verify their wish to participate. Nomination does not

constitute a vote.

3.8 The Organisers reserve the right to create, merge, rename, or remove categories at their sole discretion based on the number and nature of

entries received.

3.9 If five or more suppliers from a particular service type enter under “Additional Services”, the Organisers may, at their discretion, create a

standalone category for that service.

4. VOTING PROCESS

4. Voting is open exclusively to couples (“newlyweds”) who were married between  6th March 2026 and the 5th March 2027

 

4.1- refund policy - under no circumstances should an entry be disallowed or cancelled will a refund be eligible at any point. any tickets purchased for an event will not be available for refund 12 weeks prior to event date.

tickets can not be passed to another visitor and are only redeemable for the company or person booked to attend due to food and allergy requirements we take no risk or danger to the attendee if this is changed without our prior notice..

all food allergies must be provided when requested and we will not change these requirements without written consent from the attendee 

4.2 Voting opens on 21st August 2026.

closes at 5pm on Friday 5th March 2027. No votes will be accepted after this deadline.

4.3 Voting is free of charge and conducted online via the official Awards website.

4.4 Each voter must complete the voting form honestly and accurately. The Organisers reserve the right to verify the legitimacy of any vote.

4.5 Voters may vote in multiple categories but may only vote for their supplier once per category.

4.6 The entire judging process is based on the number of legitimate votes received by each entrant. The overall score is then divided by the number

of individual votes received to give the average score. The Organisers will determine what constitutes a legitimate vote at their sole discretion.

5.1 The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification without notice:

a) Vote Manipulation: Artificially inflating vote counts through any means including but not limited to:

• Creating or using false, fake, duplicate, or fraudulent voter accounts

• Automated voting systems, bots, scripts, or any technology to generate votes

• Vote-buying, vote-trading, or offering incentives in exchange for votes

• Coordinated voting schemes or vote-rigging

• Voting multiple times using different identities or email addresses

b) Misrepresentation: Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information about your business, services, location, or eligibility

c) Impersonation: Entering or voting under another person’s or company’s name or identity

d) Coercion: Pressuring, harassing, or otherwise compelling individuals to vote

e) Interference: Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity, security, or proper functioning of the Awards, website, or voting

system

f) Unfair Practices: Engaging in any conduct that the Organisers deem, in their sole discretion, to be unfair, unsportsmanlike, or contrary to the

spirit of the Awards

5.2 The Organisers employ verification measures, monitoring systems, and fraud detection protocols to identify suspicious activity. We reserve the

right to investigate any entry or votes that appear irregular.

5.3 Votes that the Organisers determine, in their absolute discretion, to be fraudulent, suspicious, or in violation of these Terms will be removed and

will not count toward any entrant’s total.

5.4 The Organisers are not required to provide evidence or disclose the methods used to detect violations.

6. JUDGING, SHORTLISTS, AND WINNERS

6.1 The judging process is based entirely on the number of legitimate votes received by each entrant in their respective category. The overall score

is then divided by the number of individual votes received to give the average score. The Organisers will determine what constitutes a legitimate

vote at their sole discretion.

6.2 The Organisers will determine the shortlist (finalists) for each category based on vote count and above point (please see 6.1) at their absolute

discretion.

6.3 All judging decisions, including but not limited to the determination of finalists and winners, are made solely by the Organisers and are final and

binding.

6.4 The number of finalists per category is determined at the Organisers’ sole discretion and may vary between categories.

6.5 The Organisers reserve the right to:

• Adjust vote counts based on verification and fraud detection findings

• Discount or remove votes deemed illegitimate

• Disqualify entrants at any stage if Terms are breached

• Award or withhold awards in any category

• Declare no winner in any category if, in their opinion, no suitable winner exists

6.6 The Organisers are under no obligation to disclose vote counts, voting statistics, or the margin between entrants to any party.

6.7 Legacy Award: The Legacy Award is a special recognition award. Qualification criteria and winners for this category are determined entirely at

the Organisers’ discretion based on historical performance and multiple wins at previous I Do Wedding Awards over the last 11 years.

6.8 Newcomer Award: This category is for wedding businesses established in 2026. The Organisers reserve the right to verify establishment dates

and disqualify any entrant who does not meet this criterion.

7. RESULTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

7.1 Finalists will be notified by email and announced publicly on the Awards website and through official I Do Wedding Awards communication

channels.

7.2 Winners will be announced at The I Do Wedding Awards 2027 will be held at the magnificent Renaissance at Kelham Hall, one of the region's most prestigious and breathtaking wedding venues, on Tuesday 18th May 2027.

7.3 The Organisers reserve the right to announce results through any medium and at any time they deem appropriate.

7.4 Results are final. No appeals, challenges, disputes, or complaints regarding results will be entertained.

8. ATTENDANCE AT THE AWARDS CEREMONY

8.1 Shortlisted finalists are invited but not required to attend the Awards ceremony.

8.2 Attendance at the ceremony requires the purchase of tickets. Ticket prices and availability will be communicated separately.

8.3 The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any person or to remove any person from the event for any reason.

8.4 Finalists certificates will be presented to shortlisted entrants who attend the awards. Winners certificates and awards will be presented to

category winners. Finalists and Winners who do not attend will receive an email copy of their certificate.

8.5 If a winner is not present at the ceremony, arrangements for collection of awards will be communicated by the Organisers. A postage fee will be

applicable for those winners who do not attend the awards and wish to receive theirs by post.

9.1 By entering, you grant the Organisers a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, and display:

• Your company name, logo, and business information

• Any photographs, images, or materials you submit

• Testimonials or comments provided during the entry or voting process

9.2 You confirm that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any materials you submit and that their use by the

Organisers will not infringe any third-party rights.

9.3 The Organisers own all intellectual property rights in the Awards, including but not limited to the name “I Do Wedding Awards”, the Awards

format, branding, logos, website content, and any materials created by the Organisers.

9.4 Finalists and winners are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the official “I Do Wedding Awards Finalist” or “I Do Wedding

Awards Winner” logos in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Organisers.

9.5 Misuse of the Finalist or Winner logos, including but not limited to use beyond the specified year or after disqualification, will result in immediate

withdrawal of the license and may result in legal action.

10. PUBLICITY AND MEDIA

10.1 By entering, you consent to the Organisers using your company name, logo, image, and likeness for promotional, marketing, and publicity

purposes in connection with the Awards without additional compensation.

10.2 The Organisers may produce photographs, videos, or other recordings at the Awards ceremony. By attending, you consent to being

photographed, filmed, or recorded and to the Organisers’ use of such materials.

10.3 Winners and finalists may be featured in I Do Magazine publications, website, social media, press releases, and other marketing materials.

11. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organisers exclude all liability for any loss, damage, costs, or expenses (whether direct, indirect, or

consequential) arising from:

• Your participation in the Awards

• Any technical failures, errors, or interruptions affecting the Awards or voting system

• Any disputes between entrants or between entrants and voters

• Any claims that you have breached these Terms

• The conduct or content of any third party

11.2 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers, their directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages,

losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms

• Your violation of any law or third-party rights

• Your participation in the Awards

12. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

12.1 Personal information collected during the entry and voting process will be processed in accordance with the Organisers’ Privacy Policy and

applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

12.2 By entering, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of administering the Awards.

12.3 The Organisers will use personal data only for purposes connected with the Awards and will not sell or disclose personal information to third

parties except as required by law or as necessary to administer the Awards.

12.4 Entrants and voters have rights under data protection legislation including the right to access, rectify, and erase personal data. Requests

should be directed to info@ido-weddingawards.co.uk.

13. DISQUALIFICATION

13.1 The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or remove any votes at any time if:

• These Terms are breached

• The entrant engages in prohibited conduct as outlined in Clause 5

• The entrant is found to be ineligible

• The Organisers, in their sole discretion, determine that disqualification is appropriate

13.2 Disqualification decisions are final. Disqualified entrants forfeit all rights to finalist or winner status, awards, recognition, and use of any Awards

logos.

13.3 The Organisers are not required to provide reasons for disqualification or to disclose evidence of wrongdoing.
